What you won’t need

  • A VPN or relay for the people you share with. They install their player and nothing else.
  • A separate database server. It’s in the containers.
  • An account with us for anyone you share with. Your users live on your server.
  • A web sign-in page exposed to the internet. Admin happens in the iPhone app.
  • New apps for your family. Infuse and other Jellyfin-compatible players connect as they do today.

What’s next

  • Unraid and other Linux with Docker.
  • Lattice for iPhone and Lattice Monitor for Apple TV on TestFlight, then the App Store.
  • Quality lanes 8090 and 8091 out of beta.
  • GPU: Intel Arc tested; NVIDIA RTX 4090 testing now.
